The Idaho Division of Veterans Services  - Office of Veterans Education (State Approving Agency) is prepared to assist you in your educational endeavors as you transition from ITT Technical Institute.  Specifically, we can answer questions about GI Bill® benefits and provide you with information about other training and education programs and benefits.  Feel free to contact us by phone at 208-780-1334, or email at education@veterans.idaho.gov.

GI Bill® - Bottom Line Up Front:

On 6 September 2016, ITT Educational Services, Inc. issued a cease of operations at all ITT Technical Institute facilities.  As a result all, ITT Tech campuses in 38 states are closed and students will not be able to resume courses for the September quarter, including the one Idaho location at 12302 W Explorer Dr, Boise, ID 83713.  Currently, VA does not have the legal authority to restore any GI Bill benefits you have used to attend ITT, even if you are not finished with your program of instruction.  Additional information may be found at the official VA GI Bill website as well as through VA social media on facebook and twitter.  As always, GI Bill students are free to contact our Education Call Center at 1-888-442-4551 (Monday – Friday, 7 a.m. – 6 p.m. CST).

U.S. Department of Education:

Students are encouraged to visit the U.S. Department of Education (USDOE) website (studentaid.ed.gov/itt) where you can find additional information about continuing your education, applying for closed school loan discharges, retrieving student records, and much more. There you will also find information about webinars scheduled by USDOE from September 7 - 22.   The Secretary of USDOE also issued a message to ITT students on the USDOE blog.
