Idaho National Guard & Mountain Home AFB Salute to Medical Works, First Responders & Essential Workers
Look upward to the Idaho sky tomorrow morning (Friday, May 15th). The Idaho National Guard and the Mountain Home Air Force Base Gunfighters are teaming up to perform a flyover of 11 Southern Idaho cities with two 124th Fighter Wing A-10 Thunderbolt IIs and two F-15Es in honor of Idaho's medical workers, first responders and all essential workers. OVA Operations During COVID-19
Walk-in service at the Office of Veterans Advocacy (OVA) is suspended indefinitely. Service Officers will still be conducting business remotely. Veterans can contact a service officer by calling the OVA or emailing their Service Officer directly.

2020 Disabled Veterans Elk Hunt Application Now Available
The Idaho Division of Veteran Services will coordinate an all-expenses-paid deer or elk hunt for two disabled Idaho Veterans in 2020. The purpose of the hunt is to offer disabled Veterans (with a 40% Service-Connected Disability Rating or higher) an opportunity to participate in a big-game hunt when they might otherwise be prevented from doing so by the seriousness of their disability. To be eligible for this hunt you must be a resident of Idaho and have a disability rating from the Department of Veterans Affairs.

Idaho to Receive VA Grant Opportunity to Build a 4th State Veterans Home in Post Falls
Idaho Division of Veterans Services has been notified that Idaho will receive a grant opportunity in federal FY 2019 to establish a fourth State Veterans Home in Post Falls, Idaho. The other three State Veterans Homes are in Boise, Pocatello, and Lewiston.
